Whole School Sports Afternoon

The children joined in with the whole school sports afternoon. They had great fun running, jumping in sacks, skipping and scrambling under nets. They were all collecting points for their school teams and were rewarded with stickers and ice pops for their hard work.

Thorp Perrow

The children enjoyed a wonderful day at Thorp Perrow. They went on an animal hunt in the wood and found lots of creatures including a bear and a crocodile. They even saw a pixie. Later they looked at some birds of prey and they watched the owls flying around. The Wallabies were very pleased to see them and came to say hello.

The Queens Birthday Celebrations.

The children had a lovely time decorating biscuits in red, white and blue and making crowns. This was in preparation for a super street party with the whole school in  the sunshine at lunchtime. A great time was had by all.

The children have been very busy on the construction site. They have been learning how to be safe, how to mix cement and build walls. They have worked together to share ideas and talk about their finished buildings.

The children have been learning the story 'The three billy goats gruff'. The story originated in Norway and a parent came into school to read the story in Norwegian. We understood the words 'trip trap'.
